CURATED BY AUGUSTAH: DECEMBER EDIT

DECEMBER HAUL

December was not about doing more.
It was about slowing down, choosing intention, and letting confidence feel quiet.

We’re flipping the calendar again, and it still doesn’t feel real that another year is coming to an end. Ever since COVID, time feels like it moves faster, especially during the holidays. December felt like a happy ending for me. After a year that moved fast in every direction, this month gave me space to slow down and actually take it all in.

Creating with people I love and who inspire me, traveling to model abroad, settling into a rhythm with Reformer Pilates, spending time with family and friends, writing more consistently, working with brands that feel aligned, feeling sexier as I age, and learning how to protect my energy more intentionally all made December feel grounding in a way I didn’t expect. There was a clarity that came with slowing down. Less noise. Less urgency. More presence.

As we move toward a New Year, I keep thinking about how much pressure we put on ourselves to constantly do more and move faster, when we’re human after all. December reminded me that confidence doesn’t come from what I book or accomplish. It comes from knowing who I am and showing up for myself, even when no one is watching. That realization felt steady, not loud, and it changed the way I look at everything I’m building right now.

This month also reminded me that growth doesn’t always need to be visible to be real. Sometimes growth looks like choosing rest without guilt, protecting your energy, setting firm boundaries, and allowing your life to feel quieter without feeling behind. December gave me permission to honor that.

It also marked a successful ingrown toenail recovery period, which honestly felt symbolic in its own way. After days of walking like a penguin, saying “ow” more times than I can count, and asking a friend to hand me things instead of getting up, I finally started feeling like myself again. I’m still patiently waiting to get a pedicure, but the healing alone felt like a small win worth celebrating.

Living in New York still feels surreal. What once felt like a distant dream while finishing my bachelor’s degree in Communication and Global Business in Minnesota is now my everyday life. Being here has influenced my fashion, my mindset, and the way I move through the world. The looks I see on the subway, at events, or simply passing by on the street constantly inspire me. This month reminded me to pause and appreciate how far I’ve come, not just in what I’m building mentally, physically, and emotionally, but in who I’m becoming.

This haul reflects that season. Intentional pieces that feel supportive, cozy, wearable, and elevated without trying too hard. Things that make getting dressed easier and everyday moments feel a little more put together as the year comes to a close.

So, in true Unfiltered with Augustah fashion, here is everything I have been using, wearing, and loving this December.

CLOTHING HAUL

A mix of staples and statement pieces that carried my style through December.

  • COS Off the Shoulder Merino Wool Jumper in Grey
A cozy but elevated piece I have been loving. The off the shoulder detail makes it feel more special than a basic knit, and it pairs beautifully with denim or dress pants.

  • COS Merino Wool Polo Jumper in Black
A cozy staple I have been reaching for nonstop. The polo shape feels elevated but effortless, and it layers perfectly under coats or over denim.

  • COS Merino Wool Crew Neck Jumper in Brown
A cozy essential I have been living in. I needed more brown in my closet. The brown tone feels warm and chic, and the classic crew neck pairs effortlessly with denim or layered under a coat.

  • COS Rounded Pima Cotton Shirt in White
A classic I keep reaching for. The fit feels effortless but polished, and I love it layered under a blazer or sweater with denim. I am finding a love for COS.

  • COS Double Prong Leather Belt in Black
I snagged this men’s belt because the leather and buckle just felt right, and honestly! Girls can wear men’s belts too. The thickness and hardware give outfits a little extra edge and structure. I’ve been styling it with high-rise jeans and dresses to cinch the waist and pull looks together.

  • SUPERDOWN Lanie Jeans in Washed Grey Another denim favorite and a little gem for my tall girls. The color is perfect and the fit actually works on a longer frame.

  • PAIGE High Rise Laurel Canyon Berlin Jeans Paige is expensive but it’s worth it. These just work on my six foot frame. The high rise is flattering, the length feels right, and I style them with fitted tops and boots or a clean heel.

  • PAIGE Sasha Black Fog Luxe Coating Jeans These are my elevated black denim moment. The coated finish gives them a sleek edge, and the fit works perfectly with my height without feeling too cropped or awkward. I usually style them with an all black look or a structured coat when I want something simple but strong.

  • LEVI. 501s Awoke Vintage I officially entered my Levi’s era. The holy grail trio of Levi’s 501s from Awoke Vintage became the foundation of my winter wardrobe. They flatter my six foot frame, pair with everything, and feel effortless every time I wear them. I am obsessed. Many compliments with these jeans.

  • Vanity Project Buni Hat One of my friend’s first product launches so please go support. The shape gives it personality and makes any outfit feel more intentional. I love supporting creative friends.

BEAUTY HAUL

A beauty routine built around ease, hydration, and subtle glow.

Laura Mercier

I did a full face makeup look on my Instagram using Laura Mercier products, and it truly gave skin but elevated. December was very much a concealer over foundation month, and these products kept everything polished without feeling heavy.

  • Tinted Moisturizer

A natural, skin like finish that saved me on low effort days. I wear the shade Cedar.

  • Bronze Color Infusion

A multidimensional bronzer duo that adds warmth without looking heavy.

  • Real Flawless Weightless Perfecting Serum Concealer

This blends seamlessly into my skincare and instantly brightens my complexion. Lightweight, smooth, and perfect for spot concealing. I use the shade 4N2.

  • Lip Glacé

Hydrating like a balm with the shine of a gloss. Comfortable, non sticky, and exactly how I like my lips.

  • Caviar Stick Eye Shadow Matte

Easy to apply and blend. I reach for Au Natural and Peach the most.

  • Caviar Perfecting Lip Liner-

Smooth, long wearing, and clean. Defines the lips beautifully.

  • Blendercleanser Tool Wash Lavender Liquid Soap

Resets my makeup sponges back to new. Soft scent and no residue

  • Retinol Collagen Eye Ampoule Patch Another one of my staples for tired under eyes. These feel soothing and hydrating while giving my skin a refreshed look. Perfect for mornings, long days, or anytime my under eyes need a little extra care.

  • PDRN Lifting Pad Travel Size These toner pads have been such a nice addition to my routine, especially on tired or puffy skin days. They feel instantly cooling, hydrate really well, and help calm everything down before the rest of my skincare. I love using them in the morning when my skin needs a little refresh and lift without any heaviness

  • Madecassoside Blemish Pad + Travel Size A gentle cica focused treatment that helps soothe stressed skin and support the moisture barrier. I love how calming these feel while still keeping my skin balanced and hydrated. Great for sensitive or blemish prone days.

  • Collagen Ampoule Pad + Travel Size They help improve elasticity, soften the look of fine lines, and leave my complexion feeling smoother and more bouncy. The hydration is cushioned and comfortable, making them perfect for days when my skin needs a little extra care without feeling heavy or irritated.

SHOE HAUL

Shoes that worked with my height and my everyday outfits.

  • THURSDAY BOOT Women’s Duchess Chelsea Boot in Dark Brown Suede
These boots are my go-to everyday pair. The dark brown suede feels rich and cozy, and they work with jeans, pants, or dresses when I want something simple but elevated. They’re sturdy without feeling heavy, and I found myself wearing them more than I expected.

  • THURSDAY BOOT Women’s Downtown Bootie in Black
A sleek black bootie that instantly finishes an outfit. They’re comfortable enough for longer days walking around NYC for long hours and still feel dressy enough for nights out. It really elevates even basic looks.

  • Reformation Paula Slingback Sandal

A simple, sleek sandal that instantly elevates any look. Easy, feminine, and timeless.

ESSENTIALS HAUL

The Things That Quietly Made My Month

  • TONY BIANCO Fantasy Heeled Boots

These define minimal winter chic: sharp toe, perfect block heel, elevated silhouette. Small note, I am a size 10 and I had to size up to an 11.

  • Fenty Eau de Parfum

A warm, intimate scent that feels grown and sexy. It sits close to the skin, soft and slightly musky, and always gets a quiet “what are you wearing?” Thanks Rihanna.

  • MY CHANEL

Read my latest blog to learn more. (,:

  • HOMIER Four-Legged Clothes Drying Rack
This might seem random, but this drying rack has honestly been one of my small life upgrades this month. It’s portable, foldable, and perfect for drying delicate pieces or sweaters that I don’t want going in the dryer. It makes laundry feel a little less annoying and a lot more organized, which for me counts as a win.

  • ALLSAINTS Wren Hooded Wool Scarf
This piece feels like winter styling without the effort. It adds instant polish while keeping me warm and cozy, and I love how it elevates even the simplest coat or knit. It is practical, chic, and very much my vibe this season.

  • COS Double Faced Wool Scarf Cape in Black
A cozy outer layer that feels both stylish and effortless. I love how it drapes, adds warmth, and instantly elevates even the simplest outfit. Perfect for chilly days when I still want to feel put together without trying too hard.

  • COS Double-Faced Wool Jacket (Black)

Polished, minimal, and structured! An easy piece that sharpens any outfit.

  • CHANEL Mirror Duo

My chic little on-the-go essential. Slim, elegant, and the only mirror that makes touching up feel luxurious. It lives in every bag I carry.

  • Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Fenty Glow

ADDS TO CART x10000. A forever classic. The glossy nude that works with every liner, outfit, and mood.

  • Cuisinart PerfecTemp 1.7L Electric Kettle

My winter staple. Temperature presets for tea, matcha, and coffee, boils fast, and keeps warm. I use this every single day!! non-negotiable!

  • Huda Beauty Lip Contour Lip Stain Warm Brown

Very obsessed. Long-wearing, warm, and softly defined. Everyday winter perfection.

Looking back, this year asked a lot of me. It stretched me, challenged me, and pushed me to grow in ways I didn’t always see coming. Somewhere along the way, I learned how to listen to myself more clearly and move with intention instead of urgency. December felt like the moment everything settled. Not because everything was perfect, but because I finally gave myself permission to pause and acknowledge how far I’ve come. That quiet confidence is the foundation I’m carrying forward. The pieces in this haul aren’t about trends or excess. They’re about support, ease, and alignment, things that made my days smoother and my routines calmer as the year came to a close. As I step into 2026, I’m doing so grounded, grateful, and clear about my vision, protective of my energy, and confident in the dreamscape I’m actively building.

Growth doesn’t always need to be loud to be meaningful. Sometimes it looks like choosing yourself quietly and consistently.
